Here's one topic that is always on the minds of visitors to Las Vegas, where to shop? And it's no wonder either! There are literally thousands of amazing stores along the Las Vegas Strip. Of course, along with all that pizazz comes the high prices for the goodies they sell. Rent is very high along the Strip, as you might imagine, so the vendors must command the prices that will afford them their rent. If you are looking for bargains, you will probably need to be willing to venture away from the Strip a bit, or at least away from the miracle mile where the prices are likely to be the highest.
Las Vegas has two outlet malls that are easily accessible from anywhere along the central Strip area. That means anywhere from the Mandalay Bar hotel to Fremont Steet. On the north end are the Factory Outlet Stores near Fremont Street and the downtown area. On the south end is the Las Vegas Factory Outlet mall, right on Las Vegas Blvd at Warm Springs Rd. Both of these outlet malls feature the typical fare, and much lower prices than you'll find at the casino stores. However, you will also not find the same brands and quality here that you find in those places.

We tend to get used to all the goings on around here as locals. For many of us, it isn't unheard of to meet famous people more than once just by being in Las Vegas on a daily basis. I have seen Justin Timberlake buying lunch at Subway and Christina Aguilera has been known to drop into the local BBQ to bring food back to her crew. It's all part of the Las Vegas lifestyle we know so well. Like Hollywood, this is where the stars live and play. Movie stars. TV stars. And sports heroes too. Legends live in Vegas. In and amongst all the glitter is a side of Las Vegas few people know. This is actually a very small town. Although the larger valley tally is currently somewhere in the neighborhood of two million, if you ask many of the locals they will tell you. It's as if everyone knows everyone in Las Vegas. We are a tight knit desert community surrounded by hundreds of miles of desolation in every direction. We are literally a desert island here, except that the water that separates us from everyone else is sand.

With well over 30 million people visiting Las Vegas every year, is it any wonder there are so many amazing hotels to choose from. Everything from the most simple square box hotel rooms to something more akin to satisfying the most rich and famous who are used to palatial mansions. Yet with all of these rooms available, there is still something left to be desired in all of those hotels. That something is privacy. Okay, you know Las Vegas is a busy place. You know that when you come here you are likely going to have to face waiting in line for every meal and deal with the traffic and congestion of the wandering masses. But there comes a time when even this is too much. There are times when staying at the casino is not the most attractive option. What if you don't want to be up at the crack of dawn to mark your place by the swimming pool before the 4000 other guests do? Unknown to most visitors is the option of staying in a Las Vegas vacation home rental. An option that avoids all of the privacy issues and also affords the opportunity to save on lodging and food as well.

One thing that is for sure about Las Vegas is the endless variety of ways to enjoy one's self. Not only gambling of course, but also in a virtual plethora of ways that some people might not even think of. In fact, nowhere else in the world has so much been brought together in one place that is dedicated to little more than having fun. Of course all of this brings with it the dilemma of what to do in the time you have available, and then, how to book it all at the best possible prices. Faced with the daunting task of choosing everything and then booking it, one way would be to dedicate an afternoon to making up your mind and then fishing around for the best prices for whatever it is that you've decided to do. But how do you know which shows or clubs are best? Who has the best buffet and exactly how long should we leave to be at the show on time?

Checking Out Las Vegas Vacation Homes
More and more people today are turning to the attraction of purchasing rental homes or time shares. The advantage to this, of course, is always having a place to stay when you decide to come into town, and you can even make a few extra dollars renting it out the eleven months out of the year that you are not using it.
If Las Vegas is your home away from home, maybe it's time you considered a vacation home. A Vegas Vacation Home Can Be a Sound Investment
